HOW IS YOUR PRAYER LIFE?
This is one of the simple questions that people find very difficult to answer.
And my question is; if the question is simple, why does it tend difficult to answer?
Prayer is so powerful that it can destroy every surmounted obstacles. Ask brother Jabez in 1Chronicles 4:50.
Babies arrive with certain amount of pain but I want to believe that something about Jabez birth went beyond the usual child birthing pain which warranted the mother to express and memorize it in her son's name. Perhaps he was born breech or his father has abandoned the mother during pregnancy or the pain was emotional or came from financial constraints. But the truth is that only God know for sure what caused the pain of an anguish mother.
Something about Jabez simple request to God through prayer changed his story and left a permanent mark on the historical book of Israel. Clearly, the outcome is traced to the prayer.
Perhaps you think your name is another word or definition for pain or sorrow, anguish and rejection, or that the legacy handed over to you from family circumstance is nothing but liability,and has thrown you into confusion and you thus think you aren't a candidate for blessing, today change that mentality and pray yourself out and may the Lord hear you when you pray. Amen.
